Video

Coupa and our Business Spend Management platform have revolutionized how our customers do business. Our continued success relies on awareness, enablement, education, and conversion. Video is a critical medium in our marketing efforts as it sometimes captures a story that words cannot do alone. Video displays how our products work, who our company is, and how we provide value to our customers. This guide provides an overview of best practices and standards to consider.

Our Best Practices for Video

Creative Brief and Pre-production

Video productions with a solid idea and plan are executed more effectively. This creative brief outlines some top items to consider when embarking on this process.

Production Quality

Ensure the success of your video project by paying attention to the filming environment. Make sure all subjects are adequately lit with a proper light source. Using microphones and reducing interference with unwanted sounds will create clearer, higher quality audio. Lastly, choose a setting that fits the subject matter to give the background character and support the content.

Use of transcripts

Machine-generated transcripts can improve the video creation process. Content can also be repurposed into blog copy or pull quotes for other uses.

Direction

The best videos are created with the audience in mind. Make sure to promote your content through various channels with a thought-out plan for distribution.
